1. For Candidates

Most portals require you to create an account, upload your CV (PDF or Word), and click the “Apply” button on the job posting. Some may redirect you to the employer’s email or external website.

Installing WorkScout is simple. After purchasing the theme, download the installation files and upload them via the WordPress dashboard. For detailed instructions, please refer to our Installation Guide.

Yes, WorkScout is translation-ready using e.g. Loco Translate and supports multilingual plugins like Weglot.com. 

2. For Employers

You usually need to register a “Company Profile.” Once verified, you can use a “Post a Job” dashboard.

While some sites offer a “Basic/Free” tier for a limited time, professional portals usually charge a fee per posting or offer monthly subscription packages.

Many platforms allow employers to browse a database of registered candidates based on their skills and location (e.g., searching for “Accountant” in “Matara”).

3. Support & Technical Issues

Use the “Forgot Password” link on the login page to receive a reset link via your registered email.

If the site is active, look for a “Contact Us” page or footer links containing a phone number or email address (often ending in @southernjob.lk).
